History of Am I A Celeb?

The idea started about 10 years ago, though nothing happened until March of 2001 - that’s when we put our first site online. After about 8 months of barely any activity and very few page views and image submissions, we made our first revision of the site and released version 2 in late November 2001. Version 2 lasted about 5 months, in that time we actually got some decent photo submissions and realized that the website could actually be something one day. In March of 2002, version 3 was launched. Version 3 was our first completely database driven version of the site and it also included a magazine. Version 3 really helped our site “take off”, at least compared to its roots…
